not starting

ok heres the deal, when i try to turn my car on it sounds like it gonna start, but right before it wants to start all i here is a quite clicking noise. its also making the dashboard gauges flicker on and off the same speed the clicking noise is going. Before that, my turbo timer wasnt working for about a week or 2, because i turned my car off, and i went to start it 5-10 mins later, it wouldnt turn over like there wasnt any juice in the battery, and i didnt here any clicking noises. but now when my car was making that clickin noise my turbo timer started working again. ohh and when i was driving my car its stiff so it bounces and all of a souden my car just died, what can be the problem. could it be the wiring or the ecu thats making my car not start or could it be the starter or could it be the battery. ne input would be good

ps: this starting the car problem only happend a handful of times, but i always started it within like 5-10 mins and when i would pump the brake wid my foot the interior lights would turn off

Is this a constant thing now? or off and on like before? If its constant, hook up jumper cables to a friends car and see if it works right then. It sounds like it is either the alternator or the battery. It could be that the alternator is dying and not charging the battery like it should, or that the battery has gone out and the alternator can't charge it.

i'll try that when i get off of work, but this morning i tried to start my car, but before i started it i went to9 check if my pop up light would pop up, and they did, so i thought i would be able to start it, but it wouldnt start, it just started flickering, and clicking. so do u think it cvould be my starter. how would i know if my alternator is goin, or my batt is dead. if my bat was dead wouldnt my bat gauge turn on with the coolant light. but yeah like i said could it be my starter?

Pray that it's not your ECU. Expensive fix and it usually the clicking proceeds it.

Pull it from the behind your radio and look for board leakage.
