ok so i replaced my battery at the beginning of the summer because the original battery went dead. in october i had a problem with the positive battert terminal not stayin connected so i replaced both that and the ground connector. now ive put the car away for the winter and it seems like the battery only wants to stay charged for a week or 2. im in michigan and it has been around 30 degrees at nite. i dont know if i have a draw problem or if evertthing is ok. i did notice that the new battery terminal screw wanted to arc when i shut the hood but i fixed that problem. any ideas? the battery seems to b ok because it takes a charge with a charger and then starts the car no problem. :talon:

welli doubt its the alternator since the car hasnt moved. i went to charge the battery today and it was dead dead. i think i have a draw from somewhere. im gonna check this weekend to c if maybe the relay is leaking for my rewire or if anything else is bad. :talon:

the battery not staying charged does sound like the alternater, and cold weather i hear can make them go bad, its suprizing how things can go wrong on a car, my radiator cracked and my car hasnt moved in 2mounths. ive been haveing a battery issue i need help with, bought a new one, checked alternator befor ei did that, its fine. but my battery gets drained. i have a feeling its a short or something to do with the driverside. when i open the door the car does not recognize that i am, no lights turn on the seat belt doesnt move or anything. any ideas?
