My car is a 91 GSX 5spd. The valve seals are already worn (blue smoke at morning start up) and some of the threading on the head is stripped. So my question is do I get a rebuilt head or have my current head rebult????

if you beat a 405hp stock z06 then whoever was driving that z06 needs to learn to drive as a zo6 should eaisly walk away from a stock gst w/o even going wot.

You should be able to just rebuild the one you have. When you get it off just take it to the machine shop and let them check it all out and tell you what it needs. Usually you dont need to get a new head unless yours is warped, cracked, or has other major damage.

Re-build the old one. You can do alot to a head before they go really bad. I raced a ZO-6 the other night and a 99 Prelude V-tech and stomped them both :D Good luck with that.

Yeah... That Z06 either didnt notice you where tryin to race him or didnt feel like emberasing you...

Yes, well, I know that he wasnt tryin. But it was fun cause he didnt have another opportunity to get around me on an empty road that night. :D But then I didnt get away either. I dont think the guy in the Honda knew how to drive his car. He was tryin though. I had fun. :p
