well ive been experiencing a bad stutter/stumble at almost any boost, it falls on it ass at WOT... but if i back off on the throttle a little it will 'feel' like its pulling a little better....
i was getting some weird o2 readings from my logger, so i went ahead and got a new O2 sensor... now it hits around .75 at idle and cruise.... but as soon as i give too much throttle it will flat line at 0.... which at the same time, the FTO2 maxs out at 199%....
i have no boost leaks, and shouldnt have any exhaust leaks.... NGK plugs are new (gapped right), wires are new as well and from NAPA (belden)...

the guy i bought it from had swapped in a new motor allready.... which come to find out, was an AUTO... meaning, AUTO CAMS, and AUTO INJECTORS.... (allthough it did have the 14b) i drive a 90 manual... and i have a 90 MANUAL ECU.... so my car was running a man. ecu on some 390 injectors... ok so i find me some 450s and, here i am now.... stumbling under almost any boost.... so whats to check next??? i have no idea what year the auto motor came out of... i guess the only really important fact is the electronic parts... like is the right coil pack and ignitor chip on the car??? or anything else that could cause problems?

a weird thing happened the other day as well... i was doing a little cleaning on my dirty oilly engine bay.... and i go to start it after im done, and NOTHING.... put in a new ECU.... starts right up..... now i didnt put any high pressure on the bay... just let the water run down the sides..... and i didnt spray water directly on ANY electrical parts... so thats one ECU.... and when i bought the car a year ago it had a bad ECU.... so either ive got REALLY bad luck... or weve got an electrical gremlin... now weather this issue could be related to my problem, i have no idea....

i have a re-wired walbro 190 fuel pump, and a brand new fuel filter.... my MAS is NOT hacked.... timing should be good.... im NOT trying to recirculate....

im aware that i really need fuel controll to properlly run this EVO 16g turbo, but im just in the process of getting it running correct, and i just leave the boost at 12 - 13 ish.... i tryed to explain everything best i could...

forgot to mention, new knock sensor and i have minimal knock... never more than 10 really...

just to add more, ive been having a random CEL come on lately... it will turn on for a sec, then turn off.... it may not come back for 5 or 10 min... or it may come right back on.... found the code with my logger, its 31 - knock sensor.... my knock sensor is brand new from the rebuildl... wtf mate?

also, i logged my ACLE.... it stay at 0% basicly all the time... at some very random times it jumps up.... but shouldnt it rise as i increase throttle???

heres two logs... if that helps any... let me know what I should be logging to help figure this out...
i cant really go full WOT, because the car runs like ass. so i just do partial throttle... sometimes at full throttle it will buck violently... feels like fuel cut...

So my car has been going through ECUs like oil. The guy that had it before me went through three. I'm on my second, so apparently we have an electrical problem.

My question is, where do i start? Should I just pull the harness and give it a once over or is my problem most likely in the fuse box?

It's a 90 model and I've looked at two of the blown ECUs and none of them have any noticable damage or any horrible smell. When the ECU went out on me, it was right after I washed the engine bay. I covered up important stuff, and washed by hand then used low pressure water to rinse down, but still, it fried.

Why wouldn't the MPI fuse blow, or some other fuse? Does this indicate the problem is after the fuse block?

I've already fixed a lot of my harness, the section of wires around the coolant overflow were old and cracked. So I fixed them and then there were a few wires that needed repair down by the alternator.

Well if enough water got into your fuse box and conected the circuit, all the fuses in the world wouldn't help. The water completes the circuit around the fuse. Other than that, I'd go over every wire after the fusebox to see if maybe the wire cover melted off and is grounding itself on your frame. If it was overheating the ECU enough to fry it, maybe it melted a wire. Other than that, I'm at a loss.
