alright here goes, i have a 92 talon and when i start her up she revs fine, bov works great and nothing seems to be wrong but as soon as i decide to take her out for a spin as soon as my turbo goes on at about 2500 rpm on the stock 14b she studders. I gun it hoping the studdering will go away but after reaching 4000 rpm's i give up. what could be the problem. its a car ive had trouble with since day one. currently im all stock other than a k&n filter and i have a boost gauge that reads it pretty well even when it studders im at full boost. i read on a few forums to change your spark plugs and wires. i have ngk bpr7es spark plugs that are practically brand new. could it be my wires??? also i just looking over my car a yesterday and found a sensor from the EGR valve that wasnt connected. could that be part of the problem as well.......can anyone help me...id hate to give up my dsm and get a family wagon :thumbdown because thats what my girl wants me to get...please asap!!!!

i have a 2g gsx and everytime i would go WOT it would sputter and have a massive performence loss, turns out the stock upper rubber intercooler piping had a hole as big as montana, I would check for leaks first, have you?

You know i havent checked that although i will later on tonite, from what you know though could the EGR valve have anything to do with my studdering on the car? if so obviously i should fix it.

it's most likely and air leak. i have the same problem when i go WOT. That's why i just go 1/2 throttle instead. I'm just waiting on intercooler and piping.

let me ask you something what does WOT mean?? I should also add that i had to replace the head at one point. could it also be that i might of connected the vaccum lines incorrectly??? OMG

Oh...i forgot theres another thing i forgot to mention. I have the boost gauge connected to the fuel pressure solenoid which is the line with the green lines. anyway once i rev it up to maybe about 4500 rpm's the boost gauge starts to read boost going up to 10 psi??? any clue if thats also a boost leak problem??

WOT = Wide Open Throttle = Pedal to the floor
When you put the gas pedal to the floor it open up the throttle body all the way hence wide open throttle. :thumb:

You deffinately need to check for leaks. More than likely that is what it is. Boost leaks suck and can cause all kinds of problems if you dont stay on top of them.
Check for leaks and then let us know the out come. Good Luck!
