Toronto,
I've been experiencing violent shaking when suddenly braking on the highway. It's not that noticable below highway speeds. In fact it very faint.
This is what's been done:
New struts, tierod ends, steering rack, one of the lower ball joints, rotors, pads.
Idon't know what it could be?
Could it be bad bearings?
What are the symptoms of worn out bearings?
What else can I check?
I was testing it on the highway this morning.
If I got above 100km/h and brake, it shakes very violently. Below 100 km/h, there is no shaking almost at all. I have a manual rack, so you can feel the feedback in the steering a lot more.
While just driving, there is a very very faint vibration at highway speeds and almost none below 100km/h.

I know that you said that you've replaced the rotors but what you are saying indicates that they need to be turned. Id take all four rotors off the car and have them turned. My little brothers lumina has this wierd wobble almost bounce to it as he rolls slow. Weve found out that even though he had the front rotors turned it still does it. Its coming from the back. His rears need to be turned/re-placed aswell. Try that. Or re-balance your wheels.

I honestly don't think it's the rotor, cause it was doing the exact same thing before the old ones were replaced.
I am leaning towards lower control arm bushings, I'll get them changed just for the hell of it.
