I wen to DV8 motorsports today...to get my Spark plugs and wires changed. There was some oil that came out. And the mechanic said that my Valve was leaking. I asked him what should I do. He said to get it replaced? What do yall think I should do. Is this common for all the 2g 98 GST? I searched about this but did not find anything. How could this be fixed for cheap? Also...when ever and punch it...my car would rev up to 5,500 RPM and then out of no where it would act if it was stalling on me. Like while Im accelerating...the RPM starts to fall down slowly. And then like a second later it would regain its power. Would it have anything to do with my having a quarter tank of gas? What do yall think.

I think if you're paying to have plugs and wires changed, there's a lot more wrong than any mysterious valve.

You might try and find out what valve he imagines is leaking, or at least get a price for how much you're going to pay to have him bend you over a fender and use you in the most heinous manner. Is this 6UL DV8 services?

Well I dont want to be paying too much....and getting ripped off. But ya I'm going to call up DV8 today and find out. But what do you mean by 6UL DV8 Services?

Yea, you should probably be changing your plugs and wires yourself.

Anyways, by valve does he mean valve cover? Sometimes the o-ring seals that go around the spark plug holes start to leak oil and the spark plug well might have oil in it. If that is the case, take all the bolts off the valve cover, get a new gasket and put it back on. Simple as that.
