Okay so I had my had pulled off because the head gasket was blown, so I take it to get it milled down and decide to get a valve job while the head was off. Well all that is done and the head and everything is back together... but now it won't start, cranks like it is out of gas (doh there IS gas in it). Anyone have any clue to why it isn't starting?

Also the piston numbers go from right to left 4-3-2-1 correct? and on the coil pack, the left side is 1 and 4 and right side is 3 and 2? Argh I'm so confused and have spent so much money that i'm dissoriented and can not figure it out! :|

Please help I need my car back SOON or I am screwed! thanks in advance!

Compression test.
Check for spark.
Were the head bolts torqued within spec in the proper order?

There is spark, I just don't know the order to deliver that spark--
need to do a compression test, once I get the compression tester from work

can you tell me what the proper procedure is and then I can tell you if I did it right?

I timed it, I had my boss come look at it before I put everything back together and he said it looked fine and told me how to tighten up the timing belt (which it is too loose right now I believe so maybe I didn't do it right)

It's weird that I am currently at a technical school learning automotive technology and I want to ship my own car out for someone else to fix it.
This car is too much for me I guess!?

Cool thanks.
That is what I thought, wasn't sure though. I was told to try turning the CAS 180 degrees since that seems like why it isn't firing. Didn't work though.

How much play is there in a timing belt normally? I know not alot but approximately using the straight edge and ruler method

Kinda can't take it for the good hard run it says to do before the compression test LOL
**SIGH**

if the timing belt is loose do yourself a favor and do not turn the car over at all..

you need to check the timing grab a manual or check v-faq sounds like it is WAY out of time

Found out that the idoit who machined my head took way too much off the valve seats and you know what that means?

NO COMPRESSION, DUMB @$$ OWES ME A HEAD
thanks guys
