vibration when going over 80mph

lately i've been experiencing trembling on the gas pedal and a bit of vibration throughout the steering wheel and engine when i go above 80mph. what could be the problem?

Is your car lowered? It could be that your tires are wearing off uneven making that wheel no longer balanced…

nope, no modifications. stock automatic 96 eclipse rs. i will check the tires when i get the chance though, thanks. but will uneven tire cause the gas pedal to tremble?

could be your alignment or you might have worn out bearings/boot

More than likely the wheel and tire need to be rebalanced.

Well your gas pedal has nothing to do with this really. I mean it’s bolted to your chassis with a wire that runs to your t.b. In this instance I would think you would get the same vibration on all pedals...
