I don't know WTF is going on. This all seemed to start when I put the new fuel filter on (with the AN line upgrade).

First the FP fuse blew... replaced it.. hasn't done it since.

The car idles like crap and it doesn't want to accelerate. My LTFT are 0.. and they shouldn't be. I haven't tuned it since the new turbo and 650 injectors. Bank 1 O2 doesn't do squat... it just sits there at a random number.

I think I have fixed the O2 issue. The ground strap on the exhast snapped. I just made a temp strap and it seems to be reading normally now.

When it wants to run, from idle to ~3K it coughs and sputters. Above that it seems to run better, but still not to where it should be.

I replaced the plugs.. that didn't help.

The lack of a LTFT really has me worried, I am thinkin' fried ECU.

ANY ideas are welcome at this point!

I will also mention, when it is doing this crap, if I set the AFC at zero for the 1K RPM setting, the Idle smooths out.

before you changed the afc to zero...what were your adjustments at 1krpm?

sounds like you were running to rich or lean at idle if zeroing the afc fixs your issue

and the ground strap o2 thing leaves me wondering since i am currently running no exhaust (hehe no flamin) but i have no o2 problems - i never knew what the ground strap was really for?

I left the richer AFC settings and the car behaved on the way to work. Next step is the LTFT issue.

The ground strap gives the O2 sensors a good ground. Sensors always love a good ground, but some cars are less picky than others.

I ordered a new ECU.. well, from ebay. I'll see if that makes a difference.

thats interesting to know - although do any aftermarket dsm exhaust systems have a place for the ground strap?

My RNR didn't. I doubt any of them do.

Just drill a hole through the corner of the heat sheild on the cat. Then put a bolt though it and the loop on the strap.
