Well i finished the swap it startxs up fine and idles all day no problem, but, when you hit the gass it boggs and and when you get off it the rpm's jump about 300rpm's.

The timing at idle is 12-15 BTDC
I had checked the TPS resistance is fine, all hoses, and electrical connections.
I had the yellow 510cc injectotrs on,but i switched them over to 2g stock turbo.
I had cleared the codes and nothing has poped back up.
All the wiring for 1g to 2g swap was done by soldering and was tested for resistance before using.

Mods to car
The engine was ordered from Japanstarmotor.com w?cyclone intake(yes i know all the opinions about it)
The tranny was ordered from Team Rip Engineering
The turbo was ordered from Bullsey-power.com To4
The supporting mods were the things I felt would be needed for the car to run good and be reliable. We ordered the MSD DIS2 ignition box, Greddy front mount intercooler, Walbro fuel pump, B&M fuel pressure regulator, Fidanzas flywheel for a six bolt, and tokico struts and Eibach Sport line springs.

The DIS 2 is not hooked up yet

Thankz for the reply

Today i redid all the vacum lines. Tested the resistance on all wires related to the TPS MAF, MAPS, ignition primary and secondary.
Everything looks good.

I am checking the cat tomorrow.

How is your fuel pressure? If I read your post correctly, you used the B&M FPR. The B&M unit is just a pressure riser not a regulator, as such your fuel pressure may be too high making your mixture very rich. Also, re-check your timing, assuming you are reading the value off the logger 12-15* is high, hook up a timing gun and make sure.

Well seems to be the intake cam is of one tooth.
I was never able to here the back fire as it was baffled throught the intake tract we pulled the filter barely heard it then put a stethascope on the intercooler pipe and it cam out loud.

CORRECTION problem still occurs.

Any more suggestions please help the car is just sitting and i need it back on the road.

Timing should be 5 BTDC. Mine was at 35 ATDC and it would rev or idle very well, I also had shot plug wires. Take a bottle of water and spray the wires while it's running, if spark jumps ther bad, Also take a plug wire off the plug, but leave it in the whole if it jumps to the sides that could be it, Also the ECU could be bad. unless you have mods I'm unaware of 5 BTDC should be right on, If it's even 2-3 degrees off it won't run right, Also since the cam was a tooth off, check compression just to be sure. Good luck

Derek

i actually came to find out the belt was just stretched but i will perform another compression test again can't be too careful.
And i will turn back my timing and see where that puts me.

Thankz
Matt

last and final suggestion...dsmlink 2...this is all you need to diagnose all those 1g in 2g problems... you need this device it would tell you everything that is going on...

After trying and getting burned ou on it i started from scratch again, an this time i noticed the fuel pressure looked kinda funny.Well you will never beleive it was the main line right out of the fuel tank was barely kinked, on did it and removed walbro put stock one back in a and bamm like magic.

Thankz for your help :thumb:
