sometimes in the morning when i go start my car it wont keep its idle and die or stall on me

after a while driving without stopping it will keep idle (yes i am able to drive it but it stalls out as soon as i stop )

i took it to my mechanic and he was baffled cause when i got to him it was keeping idle fine

what could this be some sort of sensor?

hmm i have an n/t btw it hasnt done it in the last few days and before that 2-3 weeks just does it whenever maybe the fuel i put in was dirty :p

How cold is it there? If it is under 30 degrees F it could be your coolant temp sensor is either bad or has a loose connection. If the senson is bad your car will think its super hot out, which in turn won't switch your ECU to a different fuel enrichment map. Result will be hard starting and no idleing.
