5th Gear Issue

Hey guys,

Lately I've been experiencing a problem with my 5th gear. When its engaged on the highway it seems to be fine, but when i release the gas pedal, and then hit it again, the shifter kicks back at me. Occasionally the shifter kicks itself completely out of gear into neutral, but this doesn't happen all the time. A friend told me it may be the synchro? Let me know what you think. Thanks.
