I have a non-turbo '99 eclipse with headers, exhaust, and intake. I know its only gonna give me 25 horse power the most, but I still felt no difference. What can be holding my car back? What else can i do to make it faster, with out superchargering or turbo charging?

~Tommy [email protected] please if asnybody can help, and i can't freakin burnout either.

Bored-out Throttle Body
Increase the opening on your throttle body to increase air intake.

Ported Intake Manifold
Further increases air intake.

Camshafts and Cam Gears
Agressive camshafts and cam gears allow for more power through timing adjustment.

Underdrive Pulleys
Underdrive pulleys can be added at the same time to reduce weight, which means the engine will work less to drive the accessory belts.

Cylinder Head Porting
Greatly increase air flow through the cylinder head. You may need to compensate with more fuel, which means you'll need an aftermarket Air/Fuel Controller.

Air/Fuel Controller
Allows tune-ability of the air/fuel mixture to avoid detonation and major engine damage.

Ignition Timing Controller
Allows you to control the timing.

I still am trying to find out why car car is sluggish after i put exhaust header and cai in. it doesn't feel the way it should after those mods. maybe i need to get a chip to balance them out? It feels like theres no throttle response or its delayed. i dont know why its slugish.
