boost problems

dont have an aftermarket boost gauge so i have to use the crappy little stock one!..but i cant boost past 0.5 once it hits 0.5 the car shakes (well kinda) its more of a really fast thumping sound!
i have no idea wut it could be

any ideas will help

do a pressure test test to make sure your all tight.
Sounds like you have a hole someplace in the piping ( clamp area maybe?)

You have to do a little more investingating and explaining to get more responses
