Problem with Ticking... Maybe worse

Alright guys about a day or so ago, my car started to have a wierd sound coming from the Timing belt/cam area. It sounds like a loud rattle, or something. It only seems to happen at around 1200-2200 Rpm's. If I am driving above 2200 then it seems to go away. I have a 2gen turbo, with new timing belt, and the other belts, and pulleys have been replaced by a mitsu. dealership. I don't seem to have any lost power and haven't had anything go wrong yet... I haven't been able to look at it closely because it has been raining a lot. Any thoughts would be great.

Also I have another problem with my car. Sometimes after I drive it a bit, the car starts to idle high. It will come and go, but it usually idles around 2000 ocassionally and sometimes even gets to 3000rpms. However it doesn't always do this. Any thoughts?

Check your harmonic balancer.

I will check that today it seeemed to have cleared up a bit, however that was actually one of the parts replaced probably around the end of this summer. The balancer actually came apart on me, which through off my serpentine belts. This was one part that was fixed by Mitsu... So I would hope that paying outragous price would be enough.

Also I really think that the sound is a little higher. Right under or around the timing belt cover. It almost even sounds like something just might be hitting a little bit.
