In the pic, it's under the throttle body, is this just part of the emissions stuff? There are two spots for vac hoses but I dont think anything has ever been connected here (since the emissions was ripped).

On and it did start, first try after the full rebuild, albeit runs like poop, have an oil and water leak that are easy to fix, but it runs like crap. First gear doesn't pull really but I know I need to be gentle on the new motor for a bit so we'll see. Thanks again!

As far as I know, you should re-connect the vac line to the EGR valve and then use a block-off plate. This fools the ECU into thinking the EGR is installed and functioning. If you fully remove it, I believe the computer will get pissed off and make things run worse. Good luck. :thumb:
