guelph,
i have at least one boost leak(LOL) and it is form the bottom left corner of my intercooler,
now in the past two months i have dropped about 3000 bucks into this freakin car (remember i am canadian, exchange rates a biznich) so buying another sidemount is a last resort (frontmount in the future) so my question iis would sealing it with silicone, or weld, or dare i.....JBweld be worth the effort, or will it just add to the mess in my driveway?
(o and by the by if there is anyone who lives around me that would like to sell sidemount for less than wreckers price just let me know, i guy can dream can he)

I tore off the mount on the bottom of my Apexi FMIC on my Supra. Used JB Weld with a piece of metal sandwiched.

It's been like that for 4 months know and I don't percieve any boost leak. Tested it up to 18PSI for now. You could always JB Weld it and then pressure test it. Homemade boost leak detector should work :).

If you like, look into getting a Supra sidemount. They sell for anywhere from $125 US to $200 US. It should work as a nice upgrade.

I hope this helps.

thanks,
Amir
