Ok, I just installed a boost gauge and EGT guage; the boost guage works, the EGT doesn't. I've checked all my wiring and tried putting my brother's EGT on to see if it's the actual gauge, but his does the same thing. The needle won't move when I turn the car on. His gauge has peak hold/warning on it, which I am able to set when the car is on, so I know it's getting power. This leads me to believe it's something with the sensor or the line from the sensor. It's a new gauge, so I'm hoping it's just installed incorrectly, but I'm not sure. Is it possible to incorrectly install the probe? It looks right to me, my exhaust manifold is tapped and the probe is definitely in the runner. Could the probe just be faulty? Any feedback would be appreciated.

How long are you waiting for the needle to rise?

Have you verified connections all the way up to the gauge?

Hopefully this will help you, but odds are that it wont, I currently own the Apexi EGT Gauge ( peak/hold ) -- I needed a new probe and I purchased one from TRE. After installnig the new probe, i noticed I wasnt getting any type of response, I even waited a bit.. I figured I knew the problem, the TRE cables are Yellow/Red, Red being negative? and Yellow being positive. my old probe was the opposite, red power, white negative.. Oh well, i just swapped them around and it worked fine.. Hope it helps ? :thumb:
