What do I fill the clutch master cylinder with?

Yes, time for another dumb question!

What exactly do I put in the clutch resevoir thing next to the brake master cylinder? The chiltons maual says something about putting brake fluid in it, is this correct?

Mines is like at the add mark, will shifting improve or something if I fill it up?



I just didnt want to go to the store and sound like the "boost fluid" guy, asking for "clutch fluid"......

Regular brake fluid is all you need. You won't get any improvement by filling it up.

Doesnt it hafto be DOT3 , I think it's something like that? Also, If it is at the add line, I think he should be filling it? The add mark isnt there for nothing.

DOT 3 or 4 doesn't matter much to the clutch hydraulics, and they are mixable.

But yeah, just brake fluid.

make sure to check your electronic vtec fluid also and as always the flux capicator belt..

, dont worry, I fill the Vtec fluid every time my 1.8 runs 10s. Blinker fluid was also topped off.
