ok my car just all of a sudden started running at like 100 rpms and really wants to die and the 2 and 3 cylinder isnt firing so i changed out the coil and it helped for a minute and as soon as i hit wide open throttle it did it again so i let it sit over night then picked it up and it ran fine for a about 3 miles and i was getting ready to pull up to my house and i hit it again and it stared doing it again so and now theres no fire coming from the coil so what else could it be

Try checking your plugs, plug wires and power transistor unit. One or two or all of them may be going bad.

sounds like a coil pack.. check it out and make sure everything is kewl on it. I had to drive my car home 50 miles on 2 cyl when my coil pack failed... that sucks

Yes, check the ignition coil. Did you buy it new or used?? If you got it used, its possible you just got another bad one. Theres 2 coils on the pack itself and each one controls 2 cylinders. One controls cylinders 1 and 4, the other controlls 2 and 3. If its new, check your plugs and wires first. Keep us posted :talon:

i replaced it new and it did it again as soon as i pulled out of the parking lot i was in i took it to a place called fast enough performance here in lexington ky so i will get back with u all to see what it was thanks for all the help
