White Smoke Again

I blew my headgasket bad a few months ago so i replaced that with a good cometic one, my car runs GREAT, no overheating problems anythign like that. I also replaced the water pump, valve cover gasket, new headstuds, 3 way valve job and some other misc stuff. But every once and in a while ill turn on the car and it will shoot white smoke out the exhaust at idle but it will stop after i drive it and sometimes it will come back. When my car hasnt been warmed up it boggs down like crazy but im guessing that part is just normal. Any suggestions because i doubt its the headgasket again. THanks

no its about 70 degrees here

It could be that there is just condensation on the inside of your exhaust pipe that burns off after a minute or two of driving. Could also be that the turbo seals are leaking coolant that is being vaporized and expelled. How is your coolant level? Do you find yourself filling it up every couple months because it is low?

i got the head compoletely rebuitl including 16 new valves so im assuming they replaced the seals too...

do a compression test first, then get back with us.

I doubt its the valve seals, it would be leaking oil and the smoke would be blue/ or black.

I got that talon running, I think the tranny is toast, so again it sits.... I hate these cars

I recently had a ton of tranny problems. I hated it then too. But then I got a new tranny and I love it again. Its like that bad girl friend you just cant get rid of. We're all gluttons for punishment but I gotta admit, I love the spool up and blow off. Only to do it again for the next gear. Some how it just makes it all worth it.

I agree with you fully realhp=turbo! Sometimes my car is the biggest thorn in my ass....but I love it too much to get another one b/c when its running...its RUNNING!!
