ill make this short,

my car is boosting and isnt going anywhere, my knock sensor is retarding my engine

its doing it a lot..

im assuming this is bad,

oh and i capped off my 2g bov to see if how it performed, could this have hurt my car?

What do you mean by "capped off" your BOV?

If you removed the recirculation hose and plugged the BOV and the intake hole, then you should be slapped. The purpose of your BOV is to release the built up pressure between your compressor and throttle plate, which in turn is good for your turbo.

But if you plugged the intake and left the BOV open, (assuming you still have the MAS) your car will sputter in between shifts, and possibly stall. The 2G BOV is trash, that was one of the first things I replaced on my car. I have heard of the knock sensor counting lifter tick and retarding your engine. This is a pretty vague thread, I wish there was more I could help you with.

i did not cap the bov in that way, i reversed it. i took it and flipped it around, and my boss said i pretty much capped my bov, i am putting a 1g bov on this weekend so i wasnt worried about my bov anymore.
