you buy a new cas cuz its probably fried...unless you got lucky and it just fuct your timing up

I would say that if they got water in it, then they should fix it. Or, refund your money to put towards a new car.

i dont know if this will help...but i drove through a huge puddle i didnt seen in my 91 talon, same thing happend...all bogged down and stuff....i would shift and it just made this like girgling sound and didnt want to accelerate....all i did was stop and let the car run for a while....or keep driving slow..i just revd the engine couple times and in about a half hour all was fine....like i said i dont know if this would help.. ..Is it a continuous problem? just leave the car on for a while and try it again....good luck :talon:

I had the same problem when I first got my talon... they washed under the hood and when I went to drive it it sputtered etc. I heard that if there is water in the spark plug holes it could fire the wire and arc itself open and cause a bad problem. Take it back to the dealer and tell them to replace the wires, and plugs. I actually just went out and bought some nice 8mm ones and the some nice NGK plugs and it was fine. I would suggest that. If that doesn't work then CRY and drive the car through the dealerships window... well maybe not a good idea but atleast complain.
