hello i have a auto 95 talon turbo that recently started haveing problims. first it started idle surging and revinging up and down at idle. then i took it to a shop and they said it was the throttle body so they replaced the tb and now i have a new problem. it starts up and idles right up to 2000 rpm. also now when i pump the brakes they loose vacuum pressure. i thought it was a vacuum problim but im cant find any leaks anywhere. is this a common problem?

please help
thanks

also i noticed more. it feels like its lacking lowend. when i push the gas it takes a sec to rev back down.the top end when the boost comes in it feels ok. theres also a slight ticking or chatter at idle. i adjusted the idle screw down with no luck. what about the tps sensor or to me what appears to be a tps sensor? i see its adjustable in it could this be it? the brakes might not be related not sure.

If you just had the TB replaced and paid out the ass for it like I assume you did, take it back and tell them it's not fixed yet. Make them fix it before you do anything furthur. I am almost positive that your TB wasn't bad either.

yea we took it back like 5 times finaly they just said there was nothing they could do anymore theyve done all they could. they told us we need to put a new timing belt in it that was the problem. i have a hard time believing anything they say. then they estimated the timing belt work at 800$.

F***ing Clowns.... $800 for a T-Belt job.... those guys suck.
You'd better get ahold of the Better Business Bureau and F*** these clowns hard.... They got your money and don't care if you ever come back....
They simply told you to piss off, take your problem child else where....
Man, this is why I work on my own car....

So sorry for ranting, but that sh!t pisses me off, even when it doesn't happen to me.

So what's your plan?

well ok, i read the section on the biss screw adjustments and re-adjusted the idle down to 800-1000. now the thing just shakes and stumbles to idle. im not sure if its suppossed to be real touchy off the throttle but the throttle response kinda lame.

ok i had it hooked to a computer machine and there was no sensors bad.. later on the way home the check engine light came on and then i took it back to get it tested again. when they hooked it up the second time all it says is multiple cylinders misfire.i changed the plugs with no improvment.

thanks
jeff
