Car broke down, could it be because of ACT?

Well my cars clutch died, so i swapped in an ACT 2100 on my 2g GST, well the car was running great and then one day the car started to give me troubles when i was starting it up, it would hesitate and then starts and when it started the oil light came on.

Well unfortunately my car burned off one of my boost controller lines VAC, and i didn't notice, when i went to race the car i hit upwards of 20 psi and the car felt like it would stop hard while accelerating, well i fixed the line and the car was good.

Still had the start-up problem with the oil light, checked the oil level and it was good, so i went to the track, i did a few runs and on the 3rd one the car turned off, it started back up but with a loud clanking sound from the oil pan area.

The car is parked here at home, but it still starts up with hesitation and it makes the clanking noise and sometimes it fades a little.

What could i have broken? what could have been the cause?

The car started up without trouble when it was hot, meaning after a 30 minute drive, it would start up again easily, it was just on the first start-up it hesitated and turned on the oil-light

Damn man this isn't good, sounds like you have (had) low oil pressure and maybe seized something down there? I'd drop the oil pan and look around if you have a "trained eye" (know what to look for). But I wouldn't try starting it until you see what's up. Also drain your oil and check for any metal shavings if you want an easier (but less accurate) way to see whats up.

Hey,
well i checked the oil and there are metal shavings, what could have happened??

Oil pump died??
You think it's crankwalk?

Yeah we get just about everything here ( worlds fastest street AWD(VR4) and fastest STI in the world :) )

THing is what do you think caused the problem??
Is this crankwalk??

Yeah sorry man but your bottom end is beat. Sounds like something seized from the low oil pressure, maybe the oil pump did die, but low oil pressure can be caused by many things. Well just for future reference don't drive around with your oil light on. Well good luck and to think of it on the bright side, now is the perfect chance to build up a nice 6 bolt!

NO IT IS NOT CRANKWALK.

Your motor was starved of oil pressure and thats why the dummy light came on. They are called that for a reason. Your oil pump most likely took a shit and did have enough pressure to keep the motor alive. Time for a rebuild or even better a 6 bolt swap. Good luck.
