I just put a 20g on my car this weekend. Then I started it. As you can see in my profile I have a 2.5" o2 housing with external dump, well I could hear an obvious leak at the flapper which tells me the I don't have the needed 2mm preload on the wastegate flapper.

It's not adjustable so do I need to heat the actuator arm and try and bend it? Or can I shim the actuator body with washers off the comp housing?

It's really annoying driving down the street or sitting at a light and my dump tube is farting

-Or you can saw the actuator rod in half, cut thread on both ends, get a thread-rod coupler that look like a 2" long nut to link the cutted rod together, put a nut on each end of the coupler to keep it from moving, when you need to adjust the rod, just unclip it off the waste gate, loosen the coupler to extend the rod.

Holy crap.... why didn't I think about that? Now I just need to find one of those internally threaded rods (or make one) and get a die small enough to add threads to the actuator.

:thumb: Thanks a bunch!!!

let me kno wat fixes it cause i have the same problem with my 14b but some say its the crack in the turbine housing. i tried washers but nothing.
