I'm having a strange problem with my battery, I think. After I installed my new downpipe, I backed it out of the garage and turned it off. I went inside to get my stuff for work, came back out ten minutes later, and it wouldn't start. I would get a flicker of power for a second, then the dash lights would dim. The starter would only click, like the battery was dead. I tried tightening the terminals but that didn't help. I finally jumped it and it worked. It survived the half-hour drive to work. After work, the same thing happened, so I jumped it and ir ran fine again. The next day it worked fine all day. It seems like the problem is gone. So what caused this? What it a bad battery or a loose connection anywhere?

I had the same thing happen to me last week and it ended up being a bad alternator. After the symptoms stopped, the car ran fine for about 4 days and finally die on me completely. If I were you, I'd take it to advance auto for a free diagnosis. While you still have juice in your battery. Better to be safe than sorry....only my 2 cents.

Keep us posted.
