I have a huge problem. I was driving my car normally and my tranny "broke" was making a grinding noise in all gears includeing reverse. No noise when it was out of gear. Even tried to start the car in gear and try to drive that way but it just makes noise. So I decide to buy a used tranny spent the whole day driving down to NC to pick it up, get back to my house and did the swap. I started the car and put it in first ( a little difficult ) and everything was fine, tried to put it in reverse and it was just grinding without going into gear. So I have to start the car in reverse to back up, I was going to be fine with that. So I decide to go drive it, I put it in reverse and start the car back out of the parking space, put it in first drove down to the end of the parking lot, pulled out onto the road and I put it in second, I might have gotten up to 35mph which was the speed limit and this tranny "let go" wouldnt go when I pushed the gas, It was also making the same grinding noise. So I pulled off the road and we did a check and it is exactlly the same as above. I havent been able to open the tranny because it has been raining since the night i got done doing the swap, does anyone know what would cause this? I checked to make sure the clutch disc was still tight and hadnt moved when we did the swap. The only thing I can think of would be a shitty TOB but I dont know tht it would cause all this. I had to fight to get it in all the gears and wouldnt go into reverse at all.
Thanks for any help,
Jeremy
