Ok, this is the situation: I was driving down this road in my 97 RS /w 70,000miles and all the sudden when i would go to accel. the rpm's would skyrocket and i would get no accelleration but if i tried to accel slowly I could go. Then at a stoplight when I tried to go at the green light I couldnt move at all. All i could do was pray that something would catch or w/e i dont know whats up and i could go again but nothing. I loosened a bolt by the clutch pedal that makes the pedal closer to the floor and for some odd reason i could go again. but still the clutch felt really odd. The check engine light is NOT on at all. If anyone knows whats wrong, how to fix it and/or what i should by for a replacement part, PLEASE PLEASE help. Money is definately a factor, im 16 and only making $200 every 2 weeks so the cheapest thing is always the best!
