hmmm... interesting... i had my car die in the middle of a race, but i think it had something to do with the nitrous. but ya the oil light goes on, no rpms, and no power steering(that almost killed me... literally). will it crank over at all or not?

First check all fuses and fusable links - start with the mains, then Ignition and MFI (engine) ones. Does anything work? If the ECU senses a condition that can destroy the engine it can shut off spark and ignitors. Perhaps a sensor is bad and fooling it. Are you getting spark or any CEL's? It really sounds like a blown fuse/link.

just to let everyone know in case they have this problem my timing belt snapped....but no internal damage was sustained sooo ya the car is back up and running

thats weird i was gonna say maybe timing slipped but you didnt say anything about metal clunking so i dismissed that hypothosis.

i guess so...the only thing is it idles a little low (like around 700-800 ish) but i just gotta advance the timing a bit to fix that other then that its been running great ever since
