Car wont start

One day i came home after driving. THe next morning when i went to go start it, it wouldnt start. The car will not turn over, and there is no spark. THe fuel pump sounds like it is trying to pump gas but still no spark. PLease help me

dead battery loose connection (battery cable/battery to starter )

my first gen the terminal connection on the top of the starter came off, it is just a little plastic clip that holds on the ignition relay wire... from time to time it comes loose and does the same to me.

If it sounds like the fuel pump is working Im going to assume that your battery is ok.

How new are the plugs? Wires? Coil pack? Transistor?

All these things could cause your symptoms. If the car is completely dead and the battery is good then check the alternator. Also what Heinz said could also be the issue. My buddys talon is doing the same thing right now.
