Uxbridge,
We just replaced the stock I/C piping w/ Greddy pipes & Type S BOV. Still use stock SMIC. Took it out for a test drive. Boost is crazy shoots past 20 psi in no time. Before this
mod I was running 11 - 12 psi max. Now my daily driver is a time bomb ready to blow either the turbo or engine. Until this is fixed I must watch the boost gague at all times. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

Your wastegate isn't opening when it should...

Reset/remove your boost controller and check it again. If that doesn't fix it then check to see that your wastegate is opening.

Don't have after market boost control. The first thing we did was spliced into the stock boost control solinioid (located under my K & N air filter). Using a tee running that to the small nipple on the Greddy S type BOV. Then ran a tube from the intake mainfold to the large nipple. Was this a correct was to connect the BOV?
Remember it never spiked before this mod.

Huh? The BOV should not be attached to the boost control system at all.

Buy a MBC, there's not one single reason not to have one.

Connect your BOV to a source off your Intake Manifold.
Your stock BOV leaks at 12-15 psi (thats why you were only at 12lbs, that and you may be messing wih the BCS's vacuum source), the Greedy can hold alot more than that. Get rid of that "T" and get one of the first mods you should get, a BOOST CONTROLLER.

Agreed. You tapped into the wrong lines and now your WG isnt getting a good signal so it is not opening. Hook up all the hoses in the proper manner and it should go back to normal.

Spend the 50 bucks and get a nice MBC. You will love it.

Dont forget the boost gauge.

I appreciate everyones help. I have a boost control on order.
Apparently the directions we followed to install the I/C piping & the Greddy BOV were not
good directions. Can any one either point me to a link to properly do the install or just e-mail me the directions? I'm grateful for your help.
