Langley,
there has always been a popping noise when decelerating with my car but wasn't too bad with the stock exhaust. today I just came home with a new High-Flow Cat, High Flow Muffler and new pipes and the sound is much louder and annoying. Could this be an internal fuel problem(eg. not enough fuel in the comb chamber) or what? Also, one of my spark plug wires has a tiny gash. Any info needed.

Sounds like your one of your cylinders is missing. Check your wires to see if all 4 are getting good spark and if that gash is to where you can see wire, it would probably be a good thing to get it replaced. Also, check/replace your plugs.

Your car is fine! My car does the same thing. Ok let me tell you what is going on with your car. When you put a high flow pipe on your car it doesnt catch as many unburnt gases in your exhaust so it will make a popping when ever you are at low fuel pressure (down shifting). So dont worry about it unless you see blue smoke when it pops. If there is blue smoke out of your exhaust when it pops that means that there is oil getting into your cylinder and thats not good. A way to check is to have one of your friends drive behind you when you down shift to look for smoke. Anyway if there is no smoke its fine. Good luck!

P.S. mine sounds like a popcorn machine, also do a compression test just to be safe. you can buy on at auto zone for 20 and turn your car over 4 times and write down the readings for all cylinders. If one cylinder is off by 11-14 thats bad. So just to be safe check it out.
