hacked air box?

today i hacked my 1g n/t air box.and in it runs like crap. it wants to stall. and it idles like shit. help!help! :thumbdown

What did you all do to your Air-box...For my 92 GSX...I removed the lower honey-comb and backed out the screw to control Fuel Cut off..I've never had any problems..Make sure that you have everything connected correctly!!

i removed most of the metal can.and the paper silencer.

Its prolly running crappy, because the fans kick on making hot swirly hair making in run like crap. Shield it fromt he fans or buy a real intake, or make one.

i made a heat shield. out of what was left.reset my idle and cleaned tb. runs good now.
