[SOLVED]

The e-brake's been tightened with the screw and my brake fluid is just at the "low" mark, so I'll just refill and wave it away.

Thanks for your time and help. Next time I'll search better :thumb:

Hi everyone!

My handbrake seems to be a bit untight. It needs up to eight or nine "clicks" to get the car stopped on a hill. Could anybody tell me how to tighten up it? In other cars I've owned it was simply by tightening a screw at the handbrake's base but I don't know if its the same on the 98 eclipse ....

Another thing that's happening on my car is that when it faces hard decceleration (braking, shifting gears down, etc.) the red "brake" light on the dash comes out. I think it must be something like the sensor from the parking brake that's gone loose because when the acceleration is positive again, the light turns off. Anyone knows if this is the problem and how could I fix it?

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the reply!

I'll try it asap. Please excuse me for making a question that's already been answered but English insn't my mother Language and I was searching for the wrong words (handbrake, etc.)

Regards !
