First off I blew up my tranny so my car sat for a few months. My battery when dead a few times and I charged it a few times to start my car and run it here and there. Everything worked perfectly. Then I got bored and cleaned out my engine bay, after that I couldn't get my car started. I have cleaned it many times before with no problems. I checked my firing order on the wires those are good. I pulled the plugs and they were wet and a little flooded with gas maybe and water. I cleaned them off good put them back got the wires real tight and now my car barely starts but still runs like crap. It sputters and backfires (pops) at idle. Then when I rev it up it revs real slow and stuttery like a lawn mower like it is still missing. And it backfires pretty good at higer rpms.

Is there anything I should check and/or when I do what to look for?

first, delete your other post with this title, you double posted :) anyway how exactly did you clean it? powerwash? im not to up on my 2g's but on a 1g if you powerwash your engine you might as well plan on buying a new CAS cuz it fukcs them up

I just checked my injector plugs and it looks like the wires might be fryed from getting wet, oops. is there a way I can check them? voltage maybe?
