I was driving on the hw the other day when all of a sudden my car felt like it was gonna die. I could hear the turbo really loud but when it spooled the car lost huge amounts of power and wanted to kill. It would drive ok if I was light on the pedal and didnt boost so I limped it home that way. When I got there is saw the hose for the mbc to the wastegate had come off. I re attached it and the prob is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked all other vacume lines and couplers and everything is very tight. What else could have this caused to happen. (btw there is oil in the upper ic pipe and IC now also with the breather filter installed before the IC so there was none before)

what do you guys think

Do you have a boost gauge? Did you happen to notice it maxing out because your wastegate wasn't operating?

thanks guys

I found the prob. There was a little cut in the coupler going to the Ic hidden under a clamp

anyways why is there oil in my upper ic pipe and IC?????? I have had a breather filter on since I bought it and cleaned the supre IC right before I installed it.

How many miles does the turbo have? If it's old, the seals may be going out in it (hence the oil you are seeing).
