I have everything off,but ps,t-belt cover. I can't get the head off or even get it to budge. I din't know what to pry on, and can't pry on the exhust mainfoild, because It's already almost off. I need help and ASAP

I also broke the plastic injector piece on the harness. Well two of them, can I wire in new ones, or will I have to buy a new harness for them?

Thanks Derek,

I just want to get this running and am afried I will never get it running

Yea, I had the SAME problem...Who would have thought their is a damn intake manifold support bracket under the intake manifold, 3 bolts - two up top one below(i think), take off whatever ones are easiest to get to. The head will pop right off.

-With everything unbolted, I usually hit the head with a lead filled rubber mallet from different sides to knock it loose, I wouldn't try to pry on it.

I got it loose, it sure is lighter after you unbolt the intake bracket LOL

It's off and all 16valves are bent. I will post pics soon. I plan to order a head from clear water and new HG and top gaskets, new ARP head bolts, and new EVO exhust mainifold, plus WP, and t-belt kit. So about 1000 in parts.

The pistons did make contact, but I don't know if they will be ok, theyt sure are dented. I plan to post pics as soon as I can add to my galery or find a site to host them on. I suck at getting pics up.

IM JUST HAPPY I HAVE THE HEAD OFF one step closer to getting it running. And it wasn't as hard to pry off as I thought it would be, that is once I got the last bolt out of the intake man.

Thanks all and will get pics as soon as I find out how LOL
Derek

I think less would have been bent if they didn't try to start it again, I just hope I don't have to put new pistons in. that may be too much for me.

Don't feel bad, I did the exact same thing when I pulled mine :)

Get some pics up :thumb:

clear water heads will have a head to you for 375 with core charge of 75, that includes the cams, and all valve parts. It's in Flordia

do a search on the company and you will find there site.
