The turbo I have has had the seals blown and has been blowing oil for a while, now I"m starting to see little shiny shavings in my exhaust tip along with the oil, is this a sign the turbo is starting to eat iself or could it be the insides of CAT disintegrating?

Pull the intake pipe and check for shaft play if the turbine hits the housing it probly is eating it self . Time for the 14b upgrade .

he is right, also a quick check is to remove the compressor cover, most likey you will see rough edges on the intake wheel and on the inside of the cover it self, hopefully its just the inside of your exhaust or something  (wishful thinking) hahahahaha.

best of luck man.
