No brake lights, what's wrong?

The brake light bulbs themselves, the two fuses, and the brake light switch connector are all good. Any idea what could be wrong and where I should check? Is there a test for the brake light switch that's on the brake pedal? What else could be wrong?

yes - check to make sure you always have 12 volts on one wire of the brake pedal switch (red/black?) and then 12 volts on the other wire (green?) when the pedal is pressed.

Check for power and ground where the bulb connects with the someone stepping on the brake pedal for you. Then work your way backwards towards to isolate the problem.

Thanks, the DSM CD I have must have the wrong diagnosis diagram. It shows the upper left and bottom right wires to be the ones to jump to test for brake lights. Anyways, After testing the wires on the brake switch connector, I found the brake light switch to be bad. Thanks.
