I just installed a MAFT Blow Thru Setup. I have a 3" MAS that is located right after the elbow that bolts up to the TB. I used 3" to 2" heavy duty reducer couplings on each side of the MAS. Whenever my car hits 15 PSI the d@mn coupling closest to the TB blows off. I have the coupling clamped down so tight that you cant pull it apart by hand, but when its on the car while making boost you can bet your @ss the pos will blow off and the car will die. I have been stuck on the side of the road 3 times because of this and Im tired of it. What can I do to solve this problem. Also I have noticed that the car drves different. When it is making 15psi it only feels like its about 5psi. Ever since I put this blow thru set up on all i have had is problems. Now I just want to get it running right and leave it alone. What is a good base setting for the maft with basically stock mods. I dont know if that would have anything to do with it but its worth a shot, but I am more concerned with the coupling thing so any ideas would help.

Does the piping have any sort of "bead" for the clamps to grab on to? If it doesn't you may wish to weld a small bead all the way around the end of the pipe. If it has a bead, you probably need T-bolt clamps.

The Mas And The TB elbow both have a small bead around their edges. I bought some 3" T clamps from autozone and I cant get them to fit around the coupling. Where could I find a good set of high pressure clamps.

I finally fixed my problem. I bought the Dejon Tool Blow Thru Setup thinking that would work. It didnt, so I tried everything to keep that coupling on there. Nothing worked. Finally I got some self tapping screws and screwed the coupling to the mas and it works perfect. There is no way that thing will pop off now. :thumb:
