Stick pops out of fifth......but

It just started happening yesterday on my way to Baltimore. But it only happens when I apply more that 60-70% throttle. Also, if I set the cruise control it doesn't happens. Anyone know of some kind of shifter cable fix, or some other easy fix to this?

You need to tighten the nut on the end of the tranny, under the cover behind the passenger wheel. I think there's a vfaq on it.

Not certain, but I read somewhere that it is a Retaining Nut inside the tranny that isn't torqued high enough. It is on the passenger side end and is fixable by yourself if you have the tools.
