idle

i have two questions. one is my car has a high idle to it and when i drive it around it is fine and then when i push in the clutch to come to a stop, the idle should go down but it stays at 2 rpms for awhile and then goes down to one. the second problem i have is my car chatters when i shift into first and when i shift into second. i have had this with every dsm ive owned.(the chatter problem).

i have a 95 talon esi and have had that same problem with the revs coming down. unfourtunately I am still looking for a solution myself. So far I no it is not my throttle. I verified that it closes fully
