Hi, im new to this forum, and ive been trying to find a way to fix this stupid problem for a while now...i cant find anything
my alarm works, and it arms unarms and all of that stuff...
but the remote randomly stops working. It just doesnt unlock or lock, so i have to unlock the doors with the key, which sets the alarm off, then i have to manually turn it off.
I dont know what to do, so i dont set the alarm anymore...
I know that this sounds like a problem with the remote, but i have two of them, and both of them do the same thing

. or its one of the four latchs. the key fobs work and will lock/unlock, but the panic button don't do jack. the only fast way i've found to shut it off is to disconnect the batt. and this is getting old running outside at 11:00pm to shut it off. so someone, anyone please HELP!!! 
i'm begging. my 2G needs help.
so i called STAR and they pointed me in the right direction. turns out to be the hood switch. i had gotten into a little hood bender over the winter. but after i got it fixed the body shop didn't align it right. so if the wind blew or if the ambient temp. changed to much it would go off. so now we now.
