Oil pump?

OK...well I think I have come to the conclusion that my oil pump is making the tickeng noise in my engine bay. I listened everywhere under my car and it's the loudest under the oil pan and on top of that my oil pressure sucks. When I stop at a stop sign my car stumbles and the oil light comes on, but when you go the car is fine. At idle the gauge drops to the "L" and when I get on it, it only gets up to a little of the quarter of the way up. would the oil pump be ticking at idle if it was going out, oh and by the way, it only ticks after it idles for about 3 min on the first start up of the day and it ticks at idle as soon as the car starts after that.

bets way to figure out is to drop the oil pan and really get in there and inspect theres really no other way.

That's standard DSM oil pressure behaviour. Check your harmonic balancer.
