Died today when stopping/??Speedsensor

First off my brake light has been on the last sew days,checked fluid etc,(all fine) well today the brake light was not on but the first stop sign I come to the car dies after idleing down and kept doing this on and off.
Could this be a bad speed sensor or a brake booster leak(are they connected somehow).
Any ideas on what to check....

As for the brake light it only comes on if fluid is low or e-brake on. It can also come on with the chg light if charging (alternator) circuit malfunction. As for the car dying, need more info - it could be anything - especially a vacuum leak (check all vacuum hose connections).
