hi,
my brother has a 91 fwd auto. Lately when you get in it you have to hold the key to start the car for like 6-8 cranks approx 3-4 seconds. If you crank it a couple of times and then let the key go, then turn the key again it starts right up. he puts 93 gas in. Our drive way is on a hill so i was thinking that maybe it is just taking some time to build fuel pressure. The thing is though it only started happening lately. It appears that if you drive the car or crank it a couple of times that it will start fine all day long.....just thinking what you guys think. Im thinking that its just building some pressure and being on the hill doesnt help. But maybe the fuel filter or fuel pump is on its way out. Just figured i would post. If anyone has any ideas let me know if not sorry for wasting your time
