Drivebelt problem

I'm new to all this. But i do have a problem. I just bought a 95 talon about 2 weeks ago and my drivebelt for the a/c, p/s keeps coming off. I tightened the tensioner pulley when i put a new belt on but it just came off again bout 10 min. ago. Thanks

From what I understand you have a problem common to 2.0 N/T's. In fact, I seem to recall reading a Mitsubishi Technical Service Bulletin on www.alldata.com about that very problem. I believe the fix had something to do with either replacing the P/S pulley and/or adding spacers to the pulley. That's all I can remember......sorry.

Also check your main pulley to make sure the 2 halves are not starting to seperate or loose.
