i just got my mbc today and i put it on. i was only running about 7 psi to start with so i wanted to go for about 14-15psi cause i think i read somewhere on here that i couldnt run no more than that. well, i put it to 14 psi in third gear to get a good reading and when it got to 14 psi i could here some kind of clicking sound from under my hood. i didnt think nothing about. i boosted 14 a little bit until i got to the stop sign and bam. it happened. my car died and wouldnt start back up. i tried the first time and alot of white smoke came out from under the hood.then the next couple of times it came out my exhaust. i can also see what seems to be oil coming out from right below my exhaust manifold.where the manifold and turbo housing meet. im pretty sure i have a blown headgasket cause it was leaking in the first place but i put some stop leak in it and it seemed to fix it. my question to you is, how much boost can my stock setup handle? i have all the free mods done, a k&n filter with a custom made intake, boost gauge and the a pillar.i dont see why my car cant handle 14psi when it is suppose to run 11psi being stock.
